If you all haven't seen the threads up in Let's Talk, The Pod is planning parties in several locations. There is a VERY strong possibility that I'll be headed to Chicagoland to take part!!!!!!!!

Other than that, I am headed to Pryor tonight for Rocklahoma - lots of metal bands in an outdoor festival.. very psyched about some Adult Time.

Back to texting my CW's and figuring out logistics. I need a vacay, and this is the PERFECT chance for me!!

Tonight I am doing a big grocery shopping run (after Ashlee goes to bed)... I'm looking at the sales ads & getting my coupons & list together now (I've been really into couponing & getting great deals lately - come on down to "pinching a penny" if you wanna join in the fun!!!! ).

Tomorrow I work til 4 (as usual) then I have to figure out what I am going to wear to SONYA'S BRIDAL SHOWER on Sunday!! I have been living in sweats and t-shirt type shirts for like months now, and I have to see what will fit that is "acceptable shower attire" Also have to do a little shopping in preparation for Sunday (I am SOOOO last minute about everything ). I am taking Ash w/ me to the shower on Sun, so her & Amira can hang out.... I'm keeping everything I have crossed that she will "be good" for me that day....

Sonya, I'm excited to see you guys!! Oh yeah, and I got your wedding invite and it is BEEEEEEEAUTIFUUUUUUUUL!!! Awesome job on those!! I think they turned out great!!!!

Not much other than that going on for us this weekend. Housework as always... blah. We'll probably try to get together w/ my mom on Sun evening - Wed was her b-day & she was out of town so I want the kiddos to see her & wish her a belated happy b-day!

Hey ladies!! Well it is Friday and I'm off for the day, to bad it is raining. Oh well, now I have no excuses for waiting to the last minute to get my house clean. I'm hosting Bunco tonight so gotta get ready for my girls to come over for some drinks and fun.

Sarah you mentioned waiting till the last minute, did you see my FB status. One of my favorite sayings is, "If it weren't for the last minute I'd never get anything done." LOL So true for me, I work best under pressure.

Let's see, tomorrow I am chill'n at home watching my 3yo and 7mo nephews for my sis. She is hosting a pool party for my older nephew's baseball team and thought it would be easiest not to have the little ones around.

Sunday I also have a bridal shower to attend. Now that I think of it I have no idea what to wear and I still have to get a gift yet. Sarah and Sonya enjoy your time together! I wanna see a couple pics of you ladies all dolled up and and the girls too.

Jen and Sarah I am excited about the GTG too!!! I just hope the dates work out, I've been involved in trying to arrange GTGs when back at PH and they all seemed to fizzle...let's not let that happen to this one!! I haven't met another PH/Pod friend since Jen/mbvm and I met at the zoo when preggo in Oct '06. Before that I had met many other PH friends so I am long overdue for making some RL connections. Jen, I posted a message to you specifically on the planning thread so be sure to check it out. That would be so fun if we got some of this March/April '07 kiddos together.

Not much happened this weekend...@ least Fri & Sat. Weds I finished up w/ breastfeeding Arianna...boy...I was feeling like I had just gotten a boob job or something slowly but surely the girls are shrinking back to normal

Today is my bridal shower I'm super excited but nervous for some reason at the same time I think I always get nervous anytime my mom and MIL and SIL are in the same room together my mom cannot...CANNOT stand Ryan's sister, she thinks she is super disrespectful and thinks SIL & MIL are really snooty...so...today should be interesting...I'm sure everything will go smoothly!

Sarah- I'm so excited to see you guys AGAIN! We'll have to set up another play date!!! Thanks for the comp. about the invite...i'm SO glad they are done and over with. I will post some pics later so everyone can see how the turned out.

I'm excited for these pod G2G to! I will have to head on over to the let's talk forum and find out which one is closest to me! Hope I can make it

I'm really looking forward to next weekend b/c that's my 1st fitting and I LOVE my dress so I can't wait to try it on!!!!

Sonya, Your shower was sooo nice! A bit hot (lol!!) but very nice, and the food was really yummmmmy! I didn't get to see much of what you got, b/c I was keeping busy chasing Ash around the whole time... I'll share a few pix once I get them online

I've had a pretty busy weekend (and today) ... I'm trying to take a quick pod break now to catch up a little... but will be back for real tomorrow!

I'm sorry I haven't been here, it's just been a busy summer.

We have no plans this week, just hanging around and keeping everyone fed and the laundry moving from one machine to the next. Over the weekend I played for a wedding, and on Sunday I went to a chamber music concert, and it was so great to do both of those things.

Oh, I do have a knitting class that I started taking...we are making a pair of socks. It is SO HARD! But I have to prove to myself I can do it.

I'm also very excited about the Pod Party! I can't wait!!! I'm bringing Dan and the kids, all the dates work for us, and I'm just looking so forward to it. Dan sent me an email from work today, something like "It's 2 hours and 20 minutes from here to Belvidere..." and I replied "So what's your point???" LOL

I hear kids screaming at each other and dinner's almost ready (Allison is earning chore-points for making dinner tonight) so I have to go. I hope you all are enjoying a good week.

I think i might be to late for this LOL. I tried to post last night but the site was down at the exact moment i went to submit my post of course!

We have been keeping busy. Saturday we painted the boys room and moved them in together. Seems to be going ok. No major problems,......yet. The only thing we have to do to the room now is the new floor and paint the trim.

Baby is doing good. Had a midwife appt yesterday and everything is A-OK. I declined the glucose test. I have no risk factors and both boys had no signs either. I have another appt in 2 weeks and we are going to be discussing home birth options. DH and I are starting to get somewhat paranoid about the flu. They are predicting that fall it is going to hit hard, or so they say anyway, and DH and I want to be prepared to make a informed decision just in case it is. If it is really bad then we are probably going to have her at home. Kinda scares me, but I dont want to expose a newborn to the flu bug KWIM?

Other then taht everything is good. Well besides Julian having fluid in his ears again. We are on another round of antibiotics and have to go back to the doc in 2 weeks.
