The Parenting Pod

Does anyone elses kids feel the need to name EVERYTHING? Charlie will point to every picture of a human/ animal/ toy/ and ask me what it's name is. I was actually typing a message on here a few minutes ago and he came up and pointed to EVERY SINGLE smiley and asked me "mom, what's his name?" It gets so tiring and I can't remember from one minute to the next what name I made up... but he does. And if I remember the wrong name he sits there and says over and over "mom, why did you say Samuel's name was (fill in the blank)?" OVER AND OVER AND OVER.
Anyone else going through this? Will it ever stop?
